with so many questions, how do you PREPARE?
There can be literally 50+ "fit" questions ranging from "tell me about yourself in 10 years" or "what do you like to do for fun?". In keeping with the craziness of the board, we're all trying to practice the qs ahead of time.
Do you guys ever take time out and write out answers for all 50 questions?
Write out your "walk me through your resume," "elevator pitch" type thing, and you'd be surprised at how many of the other questions that covers
for the fit questions like "tell me a time when..." i usually have the same 4-5 stories ready for all my interviews and i tweak them in order to fit the type of question asked. most of the time at least one of those stories will be a good match for the question asked
what is an "elevator pitch"?
..I have an idea but not sure about the exacts.
Thanks!
Because it makes you formalize what you're going to say and think through it. Most of the questions they ask you can be addressed in your standard pitch about yourself.
An "elevator pitch" is just your 3-5 minute spiel about who you are, where you came from, why you want to do investment banking and why you are a perfect fit for the job.
try ur best to prepare~ ^^bless
Jaypaul - I have a feeling you're posts are going to be a riot to read in the future. Keep up the good work.
