With the amount of firms rescinding offers, or being in unpredictable situations, do firms still try to screw you over if you renege on their offers?
I just remember when I went through recruiting, everyone was telling me to absolutely not renege or else people will try to find out where I'm going and screw me over... but nowadays firms have been laying people off and rescinding offers left and right - what's the consensus on reneging now?
What other offers have been rescinded? I’ve only seen one on here.
