Working with a manager who jumps from one point to another while explaining tasks

When she explains something, it feels scattered and hard to follow as she often jumps between ideas without structure.
I try to interpret what she said and apply it, but in the next meeting, instead of reviewing my work and giving clear feedback, she briefly looks at it, dismisses it, and repeats the same unclear instructions.

She seems impatient towards me too and tends to dominate the entire call.

I also picked up this project midway from another analyst. He handed it over as-is and doesn’t really engage at all in calls anymore. I ask him, “do you feel its abit hard to work with the manager?” He said “no?? Its fine”.
But when I ask him questions about the project (like why certain things are done a certain way), he often doesn’t know either. SMH. That makes me feel like it’s not just me struggling to understand what she actually wants.

Honestly, just needed to rant after a long day. It’s midnight and I’m still working on this after taking a short break. Not even sure if it’s better elsewhere, but I guess dealing with different types of managers is part of the journey.
