Font colors didn’t match on a CIM we sent to the client (2 completely different shades of grey). The deck was already made, so I couldnt have made the change myself. I was an intern at the time and I pointed it out but they didn’t even acknowledge it as a mistake. So much for being the “detail-oriented” VP…
None of the potential buyers care about such issues.
You are 100% right. It genuinely isn’t that important. That wasn’t the point of my comment, I was just answering the post. However, I would argue that it is a bit annoying to get mad at similar small things on a deck, but when you get checked on it by an intern all of sudden it’s not an issue anymore? lol
i honestly can't tell if this is serious or a bit
Who gives a shit. I work in PE and we don’t read these lol. Usually we just send certain pages to India to get the repackaged for our IC decks.
Aight bruh 😭
Someone wrote “pubic” instead of “public”
Yeah this fucking good
Common mistake
I work in O&G and some basis prices an analyst put on a slide were very off. For people in Houston, the poor bastard put realized Waha at like $3.00+. Buyer called them out during the MP very harshly.
Semi-related, once worked on a deal named "Project Hadron" and somebody on one of the product teams sent some emails out as "Project Hardon"
I see this one all the time: calling a shitty company “industry leading.”
“Industry leading” without data to back it up is code for “763/968 in sales among similar-sized peers”.
