Would it be cringe to post on my LinkedIn about passing the SIE and S79?

Thinking of sharing with my network that I was able to pass these two exams all on the first try. I haven't seen anyone sharing such before so just want to make sure that this is fine. Thanks.

Hmmm maybe a little since it's not seen as a huge obstacle, but we don't know what your backstory is or anything...If you wanna share with your network, I'd suggest just emailing/messaging your closer companions and telling them directly, they'd probably appreciate that more anyway. Feel free to add them under "certifications" though. At the end of the day, though, feel free to make a post if you want to make a post. You'll honestly be much happier not caring about our opinions lol

I swear to god its getting to the point that people are gonna start posting thank you posts on linkedin for getting the Bloomberg certificate.

So, do you think I'll be able to post about my next large bowel movement on linkedin?  That may be more prestigious than the SIE

The only difference between Asset Management and Investment Research is assets. I generally see somebody I know on TV on Bloomberg/CNBC etc. once or twice a week. This sounds cool, until I remind myself that I see somebody I know on ESPN five days a week.
