Cannot comment on XPS14 but I like my XPS15. As for XPS15 - I like the sleek design, relatively large screen, good operational capacity and that its keyboard is rather comfortable. I have used XPS15 in universit.y and for some work related to financial modelling and other analysis in excel and it holds up perfectly although excel is a simple program. Nevertheless, I recommend XPS15. Thing to consider: the battery could be better, to be honest, and sometimes it runs out faster than it should.

Thanks, the XPs 14 also has a touch screen for fn keys. Is this going to be an issue?

I am not sure to be honest as I have never had a laptop with such keyboard. I think the usual keyboard would be better but again, I am biased. I just think that it would be easier because having a screen there creates a higher probability of you pressing the wrong key.
