Tbh would not be surprised if DB got acquired or merges with another company to make sure it survives the recession. Personally, I'd take a HL or Baird over them but I'd still take DB over a Truist or DC Advisory for sure.
I would recommend you choose DB. Even though the franchise isn't what it used to be, it's still going to give you great exit options, especially coming from LevFin. You'll get looks in private equity, hedge funds, credit, and lots of other buyside. I'm not sure that Truist has enough brand in the marketplace to come close to DB, even if DB isn't the name it used to be

Take DB in an instant, you can always move back to ATL later on in life. But starting at Truist pigeon holes you in Atlanta.
Does truist have any internal mobility between offices?
DB. From someone who worked at truist

This is such a crazy take
HL over DB is a fair take IMO.

Spot on
Any insight on DB industrials culture/hours/exits?
You can start at DB and will have the flexibility to pivot to truist; if you start at Truist, it'll be a lot harder to move to DB
Ppl clown on DB all the time but in all seriousness take them. More than half the analysts in my group got MF offers
Very hard to believe lol
This was just my class year but historically the group placed decently overall
