24h M&A Intern Case Study

Hi everyone, I have third round interviews coming up for a M&A Analyst Intern role. 24h before the interview, I will be sent a Case Study that I will need to complete and then discuss over 4 back-to-back interviews with analysts/associates.

Has anyone been in this position before? Any tips of how to prepare? Any idea what they could ask me?

Thanks

Had something similar like this. I was given a company (sell-side scenario) with basic financials and information. Using this, I had to create a 1-pager slide highlighting the company’s key information (e.g., background, products, revenue segment, financial forecast). I was also expected to run a basic comps / precedent analysis to come up with a valuation.

Once i submitted this, i was expected to walk through my rationale for why i chose to show what I did on the slide as well as my selection and calculation process for the valuation.
