I didnt lie about anything but I just didnt say that GPA on my resume was for my Major. And I will be graduating in May and they are recuriting for positions that will begin in June!

If your cumulative is below 3.5, then the offer will probably be rescinded and you could get blacklisted.

Leaving off the word "Major" in front of "GPA" is the same thing as lying. That's how they'll see it.

But it was an honest mistake and it was not done intentionally. The interview was all very techinal which I passed with flying colors. All HR keep saying is how impressed they were with my interview and knowledge they cant just eliminate my application? And the only way they can verify this is by looking at my transcript which they havent even asked for yet. Do you think they will?

I signed the contract aswell and all it said for background check was about my criminal and credit history. They also wanted me to contact HR to discuss other pre employement arrangements. Do you think they will ask for it then?

So you wrote your Major GPA as your regular GPA? That is straight up lying, whether you intentionally meant to or not. E.g. GPA: 2.5 Major GPA: 3.5

But you put: GPA: 3.5

With 2 F's on your transcripts, that is going to be a significant impact on your GPA, I've heard people on this site and at my school getting by with .1 (arguably a "rounding error"), but I highly doubt with 2 F's you are going to be able to explain to HR what happened.

If you put a 3.0, they might not have even given you a chance to interview in the first place

9/10 for the troll post. No one "accidentally" puts a 3.8 instead of the real 3.0. And if this is real, then there is no point in asking people if they will check you or not. Every process is different and policies change. If your interviews were highly technical, then you probably prepped for them. If you prepped for them, you probably considered fudging your gpa to get the interview. No one is going to believe it was an accident.

AP you are a douche and a liar. Citi would never hire you if they knew your actual GPA was a 3.0. I've known many people turned down at 3.5s at Citi. You deserve to burn in hell, which is likely where you will be working anyway (BO role).
