Advice for a High Achieving Non-Target Student

I am currently a senior (Finance major) at a Non-Target school expecting to graduate in December of this year with a 3.85 GPA. I was a very poor student in high school and ended up having to go to a fairly mediocre school (ranked in the 400s by US News) due to my lack of effort. I've done really well while I'm here, and turned things around significantly all while working full time throughout school. I spent 3.5 years in retail working in both sales, and as a manager of the electronics repair side of a computer company. In addition to that I've held two internships, one at a startup (sales and marketing) and another at a nonprofit (business analysis) both for a full year. In the fall I will be working in the Wealth Management department at a top BB. Wealth management isn't something I feel as though I ultimately want to work in though. I enjoy analysis and thinking about problems, and am not particularly keen on spending my life in sales. What would you recommend for me career wise to best steer myself to a career in Finance more aligned with my interests? I only have until the rest of the year to prepare myself (I'll be graduating) and am willing to put in the time to do whatever it takes to succeed.

Thanks for the advice. Do you think it would be possible for me to network with other departments during my wealth management internship in the fall?

Also, if I decided to pursue business/data analytics or something similar rather than continue with PWM, would that hurt my chances of later breaking into Investment Banking or an equally interesting sector of Finance?
