Advice for incoming FT IB Analyst

FT IB analysts are quickly approaching and quite frankly, it's scaring me. I did not intern in IB and am worried that puts me behind the curve. Any seasoned monkeys here willing to dish some honest advice? For reference I am starting at a small boutique (NYC).
