Age Concern...

My cousin started out a few years late to college mostly due to uncertainty of what he wanted to do with his life. He is now going to graduate in december with no relevant work experience and decent stats (economics major). He is worried about his age, 27 and told me he was going to try to hide his age and lye if necessary. I think he is blowing this out of proportion what do u all think?

Your age is the kind of thing that they won't know for sure until a background check; it's not on your resume or anything. You shouldn't lie about it (if asked, tell the truth), but if it doesn't come up it would be pretty wise to not say anything.

One of those lights, slightly brighter than the rest, will be my wingtip passing over.

Thank you for the posts everyone....well not the sarcastic ones. He told me he is banking on the fact that hr would do the background check and his age would not get into the office. Sounds possible at a BB but still shoddy to me. By the way, Whateverittakes, if you want to be a tool use proper grammar and do not start a sentence with a conjunction.

DotCartermost likely, he shouldn't worry too much since he won't even get the interviews

Curious why you would say that if you do not know anything about him.

Big 4 are notorious for not giving a shit about your age. Just a suggestion.
