Am I too late to get into IB?

I am wondering if I am wasting my time recruiting for IB. I just finished my MBA this month with 3.96 gpa, which I completed in 1 year (immediately following undergrad) due to scholarship reasons. I went to a target undergrad and played 5 years of collegiate sports at the division 1 level. I have work experience but not in the traditional banking pipeline sense due to covid and late interest and exposure to IB. I think I should be competitive for Analyst I positions but have not had any luck. I am just too late to the game? If not, I would love any advice!
