Am I too late to the game? (Undergrad sophomore)

I am a sophomore sociology major at an elite target school. (Above a 3.9 GPA.) I transferred from a non-target, so I really knew nothing about recruiting until I spent some time here. Now, I'm really interested, but it feels like I'm so late in trying to get into recruiting? I'm planning to take more classes related to it and want to learn how to do financial modeling, but I'm not involved in any finance clubs or anything.

Am I totally screwed in trying to get an investment banking internship now since I have never tried recruitment before?

You are far from screwed, because as you said you go to an elite target school and have near perfect grades. Follow the advice on the other threads and you'll get there within a year. Or you could always be a consultant, which might arguably be more favorable for your background.
