Any Idea When the Lateral Market will pick back up for IB?
2020-2021 saw major openings in the lateral IB market. Given the recent layoffs, when do you predict the market will return ?

20-21 was an anomaly and don't see recruiting coming back to those levels anytime soon. My BB was willing to hire literally anyone with a pulse and a computer, doubt that will return.
Given the number of juniors hitting the market and no pickup in M&A, think early/mid 2024 is the earliest you could see in terms of a big lateral pickup
