Anyone Done AI Model Training?

Title pretty much says it. Has anyone done the AI model training on the side? Looks like they want 10 ish hours a week totally asynchronous and the money is not to bad for a side gig.

Interested if anyone has done this and what the experience has been?

Thanks!

Based on the most helpful WSO content, there isn't a direct mention of individuals specifically engaging in AI model training as a side gig. However, there are insights shared by a former IB analyst who transitioned into data science and AI roles. This individual taught themselves AI and machine learning by dedicating hours after work to studying, building models, and competing in Kaggle competitions. They started with no prior knowledge, gradually improved their skills, and eventually ranked in the top 10-20% in competitions.

If you're considering AI model training as a side gig, it might be worth exploring platforms like Kaggle or online courses to build foundational skills. The experience shared suggests that persistence and consistent learning can lead to significant improvements and opportunities in the AI space.
