Asking professor for intership/interview?

Hi all,

I'm a student at a top EU target and recently strated a class taught by the founder and chairman of a (locally) well known boutique with a european presence. The professor once mentioned that some students of his regularly intern at the firm.

I was just wondering how to go about possibly asking about opportunities/referrals at the firm from the prof wihtout looking too much like a hardo and making it seem too transactional.

Any insight would be appreciated. Thx!
