Back Office Folks- how do you like it?

I just got an offer for a back office role (supporting all front office functions and products) and I’m contemplating that vs staying in my current industry.

Folks who are in a BO role, how do you like it and why? What are the exit ops, if any, for going into a role like this?

I used to be in a role like that. It was neat in the sense that it gave exposure to the teams and various products in FO. It also help you learn about banking as a business. But generally the work gets pretty dull quickly and opportunities for advancement are limited bc the people above you aren't moving much either. As for moving around, you can move to FO if the people you support end up liking you. But it's hard work and you need to show yourself to be an asset to their team. Other then that other BO/MO roles
