Background Check - List employers for last 15 years?
Hey chimps, so I've accepted an offer to do an internship a top BB this summer and I'm going through my background check stuff, and I'm prompted to list my employers for the last 15 years.. since I'm 25 and have been working since I've been 15 i have well over 14 employers (had a bunch of jobs in HS and after HS and before my starting my undergrad) is it really pertinent to list every single one?
I understand it's a question those of you in the industry will mock, but you've been in our shoes and you know how much the summer internship matters to us.
Why not just ask HR?
well its a bigger hustle to ask HR than to write down 15 names with contact details on the paper imho
I would ask HR but they are closed for the day after 8 EST and I's rather get this done as soon as I can

I managed to get a hold of a friend of a friend that works at the same firm who said it's only to verify resume listed employment so I entered the places from the last 4 years, hopefully it works out well

Hello everyone,
How many years back do background checks at the BBs generally cover?
Specifically, if you finished all undergraduate and postgraduate education more than five years ago, what sort of checking do they do at this point?
Also, if one has been self-employed for the past five years (I've been running my own consultancy business, but it's very small-scale: I'm basically a one-man band), what exactly are they likely to check in relation to that? I'm London based, in case that matters.

On my background check for BB IBD, I had to list five years of employment history and ten years of where I had resided. Since I spend nine years in the military between college and banking this was relatively easy for me....
