Boutique Bank Intern To FT Interview Protocols ?

Hey guys! I'm a incoming Junior who just finished their sophomore summer at a no name boutique in NYC, 20 employees. I actually really loved my time there, the culture was phenomenal, I made genuine friends, and pay for analysts seems great considering hours (60-70).

Not saying per se I want to settle for this opportunity come FT vs a MM or BB, but was is the protocols when you go from intern to FT at one of these firms? Maybe a silly question, but is there standard interview protocol if you were trying to break in cold, or is it common they just accept you into the FT role based upon your performance as an intern? Something else? I find some of these no name boutique can quite informal in terms of interview protocols.
