Brazil Finance Jobs

I am a long-time entrepreneur looking to break into finance in Sao Paulo. I have a bachelor's in finance and I am currently doing and EMBA at Ross. I was wondering if anyone had any experience working finance in Brazil and if so, any tips or advice on jobs. I am doing the CFA and FRM mostly for the networking as my experience is so far, the good paying jobs only go to well connected networkers.

Any ideas?

No experience with Brazil, but experience with Ross, so a couple of thoughts-

  1. Use the alumni database that Ross offers to search for alumni in Brazil. Reach out and network.

  2. Similarly, go talk to the Office of Career Development. They may have contacts with Brazilian corporations or be willing to help you reach out directly to financial companies in Brazil. Not sure what all they can do for you, but they may have some thoughts as well and Michigan's career services are pretty highly regarded so I would think they may be helpful.

CFA is really really really well seen here. If you got that ( or at least show you're in the process of getting it)you can very easily get a an analyst job at any major bank/fund here.

Fundacao Getulio Vargas is a University and focused on academic research but I don't think that's the type of job OP is looking for. As Nutry said, be a little more specific about what type of jobs and maybe we can be more helpful.
