Can I apply to most FT programs for firms if I'm a recent graduate?

I missed the boat on a lot of places. I was going to do a MFE, but ended up changing my mind last month. A lot of places quit accepting applications in September. Is my best bet to try and find an internship and apply next year or a they pretty rigid in that you must currently be enrolled as a FT student? It sucks, because I missed probably 2/3 of the good opportunities. I applied to a few really good options, but for all I know many of them are really closed, just not officially on their website. I graduate in December so I'm trying to figure out my options. I'm sick of school and really don't want another degree. Maybe I'll get lucky and land something decent, but I'm trying to figure out my backup plan. I'm interested in trading (financial anything or physical energy). I prefer not prop-trading due to the lack of exit opportunities.

I landed a FT offer 7 months after graduating (I start tomorrow) so it can definitely be done.

I'm curious about your mindset though. You do know if you're good at prop trading, you don't need exit opps right? What is your ultimate goal?
