Canada PE/HF Exit Opps

Hi everyone,

First post on this forum. Asking fellow Canadians or anyone with insights as to the top PE/HF opportunities in Canada for IBD analysts. Studied in the US but was originally from Canada. Working currently at a BB in a good group in NYC but I want to go back home to be with my family. From my research, I think Onex, Catalyst are the top names there if I'm not mistaken? Since the industry is small there, I can't be too picky about locations or investment strategies.

Welcome any input!

In addition to the firms you named, you should also look at the top Canadian pension plans as majority of them have PE units and are extremely active as I’m sure you’ve heard in the news. Some of the big ones include CPPIB, CDPQ, OTPP, HOOPP, AIMCo, OMERS, OPTrust, and a few more. Hope this helps bud and good luck!
