Can't get job even after an early promotion and 3 years experience.

As the title suggests, I'm having a hard time landing a role, even though I was a top performer at my previous firm. I've applied to numerous roles but can't seem to get anything. I've applied to finance analyst roles, investment roles, investment accounting roles, even account assistant roles and nothing. I've had 1 interview in the last couple of months which was for a portfolio management role (mix of fund accounting and asset management) but it was at vp level, and I didn't have enough experience.

I come from a low income background so I would appreciate any feedback on my resume or on general applications. London Based.

Small things I’d change:

Fix the one line that has instruments hang off so that there isn’t just a blank line.

Write more interests and be a bit more specific (your interests make you sound like an npc)

Clean up your education section as it’s a bit confusing (I don’t think your exchange program deserves its own full section)

Maybe add a few more bullets to your JPM internship, ik your current role is the heaviest weight but JPM is JPM and seeing contributions there don’t hurt esp when you’ve already put so much in your main role

All that being said, surprised you’re not getting more interviews

^id also remove some of your bullets for day to day stuff at your PE firm and instead have a “Deal experience” section where you go into depth about deals you worked on and the contributions you made)

Also don’t have the first line of that section be your exam completions
