CFA for move into Asset Management
Looking to move from Tech (CRM) for Asset Management to AM. I have an Econ background (3.5 overall, 3.8 Econ) non target (Stony Brook), turned down ETF Analyat position out of college to pursue Salesforce/ CRM/ Tech career and am now discouraged by Salary progression. I've had the opportunity to learn the AM process top to bottom for CRE, I'm sure I can leverage my knowledge and experience. I also miss being Econ, Math and being closer to the markets in general.
Has anyone had success doing something similar, by obtaining level 1 CFA?
