CFA Level 1 make sense in my case?
Can it be done with IB hours? Not even sure if worth it but wanted to gather feedback. Thank you for the advice.

Go for it. It can't hurt. The CFA definitely helped me jump from consulting to private equity. Probably more important than the knowledge the CFA provides you is that it shows you're willing to put in the time and the effort to achieve your goal(s).

That is kind of what I was thinking, the knowledge is nice, but the dedication would probably look better to possible employers.

Also, CFA has been a great weightloss tool for me. That's probably a depressing indicator of my drinking habits, but I would lose about 10 pounds per level during the Jan-June study period.
