Citi IB SF Tech vs PIMCO CA Portfolio Management Desk Analyst

Two offers for Junior Summer Internship: Citi Investment Banking, Tech (SF) vs PIMCO Desk Analyst, Portfolio Management (CA)

I'm a little bit hesitated, as Desk Analyst in PIMCO is more like a pilot program (first time hiring undergraduate students)=> not sure how valuable this experience gonna be. Meanwhile, heard some negative feedbacks about the culture of Citi SF office (please correct me if I'm wrong) and concern about work life balance in IB

At current stage, I'm picturing myself as a private equity investor in the future (long term) but open to change.
