Commiseration 2017

Graduate in a month and still no job lined up? This thread is for you. Share your horror stories of your job search to make yourself feel better. Or just vent because fuck HR departments, to be perfectly honest.

Got rejected in less than 24 hours for an entry level position at TRowe even though I go to one of their feeder schools, passed CFA level 1, and do my own research outside of school. No reason why of course, just "we found someone whose experience aligns with what we want." Oh well excuse me, sorry that when I contacted your recruiter to ask about internships last year I never even got a response. Oh, that one D and two CS I got? Guess that disqualifies me from internships, which means I'll never get a real job. Retail for life it is.
