dbAchieve Essay vs. Cover Letter Application

Hi,

I am applying to the dbAchieve program for this summer. I would like to apply to the Asset Management Internship, however, the CF application makes more sense to me. The CF application has a space for you to type the essay (with a prompt), as well as an upload for resume, essay, and cover letter at the end. The AM position, however, has a blank space for you to type (no prompt) and just has a resume and cover letter spot at the end. Is the cover letter for AM the same as the essay for CF and CF simply has a redundant cover letter spot? Why is there no prompt on AM? I prefer AM over CF but if my application could be messed up on AM, I will still apply to CF.
