Delaying Graduation due to Medical Reasons

Hello,

I am a rising sophomore at a target aiming to break into IB. Over the summer I suffered some medical complications that made going to school this semester impossible. I realize that by taking the semester off, I am now going to be pushed into the next recruiting cycle (since I am now graduating in December 2027). I was wondering if graduating in December will affect my recruiting and if anyone could provide any insight into this. I don't know if a recruiter will look at my resume unfavorably because of this. Thank you for the responses.
