Was asked "how do you know our company?" in a first round interview today. I went ahead and explained longstanding connections at the firm, but now I'm wondering if the interviewer was really asking "how do you know our company, and why do you want to work here?" What do y'all think? Any input would be much appreciated... been beating myself up all day over here.
