Deloitte Federal Human Capital v. Accenture Federal Technology Analyst?

Hi all,

I am a Public Policy and Economics double major with interest in Federal Consulting and potentially pursuing a career in Government Affairs down the road. I have received 2 offers in Federal Consulting that I am struggling to choose between: Deloitte Federal Human Capital and Accenture Federal Services Technology Analyst?

Initially I was leaning towards Deloitte due to name recognition and potential exit opportunities (like GSAP). However, the AFS offer is $12,000 more and would teach valuable technical skills given my less technical background. Additionally, Human Capital does not tremendously excite me (I would prefer something closer to S&O but there was not Federal S&O available through campus recruiting).

I was wondering if anyone had insight about the two firms and roles, potential exit opportunities, and how important starting salary really is long term.

Thanks!
