Demystifying The Buyside Recruiting Process

Hey guys. Incoming SA 2023 here at a top BB group (this year I think 6 or 7 out of 9 went to MF) so I do have a lot of time to think about this, but it's something that has captured my attention recently. How does the whole buyside recruiting process work? Again this is theoretically a few years away for me but I've heard it's very different from SA and FT recruiting and that it starts pretty early in your analyst years so please let me know if anyone has any insights.
