Did I make the right choice ?
Did a couple months of IB, hated it, and exited to a corp dev role as a M&A Analyst paying same base as IB and a 15% target bonus. Hours are a lot better but can still push to 60 on tight weeks.
I never want to go back to IB, but wondering if by making this jump I’ve closed the door to working in AM/PM/PE or any investor seat?
