Do networking contacts help you in the Superday?
Hello everyone, I would appreciate if you could give me more insight into this:
I recently had a Superday for IB, which consisted of 2 interviews with 1 MD each. I have a very solid relationship with an associate and an MD at the firm. Turns out that one of my interviewers has a very solid relationship with my contacts, and my contacts told me they would put in a good word for me to the MD that interviewed me. Overall the interview with that MD went really well, but my second interview was okay, not great but not terrible; will my contacts' good relationship with one of my interviewers help me get an offer?
