Does a minor help in recruiting?
I am going to get a minor regardless but I’m just wondering out of pure curiosity if a minor in a field unrelated to business helps with recruiting for any finance job (not just IB). I can’t double major outside of business since it costs extra money/more time in summer classes.

This may be just me but my minor (international politics) would come up in the casual conversation part of the interview and people really enjoyed hearing about it, if you have a passion for it. Didn’t win me any offers I’m sure but def helped break the ice with many people
Got a minor down in Florida and it was going great until the FBI broke into my house. Now I have 2 felonies and my wife left me.
