Does my study abroad transcript matter at all?
They count as pass/fail on my UG transcript and don't count towards my GPA. I understand that employers usually ask for transcripts after the job offer, so would I be right in assuming that while I shouldn't try to barely pass all of my classes, my grades while studying abroad (1 sem) pretty much don't matter at all in the IBD SA/job recruitment process?
And what about for other jobs like consulting, boutiques, etc.?
Thanks!
It shouldn't matter if the grades from this program 1) don't impact your GPA and 2) won't show up on your college transcript. I very much doubt that any place will ask specifically to send your transcript from study abroad.
If they are pass/fail, why wouldn't your transcripts reflect that anyway?
What about for an MBA

Do MBA programs request official transcripts from the school you studied abroad at?
My study abroad program grades transfer back to my home university as pass/fail. However, the bar for passing is very low. If I got Ds during study abroad but they only showed up as Pass in my transcript with no effect on my GPA, would MBA programs ever know?
