Doesn't EVERYBODY have knowledge of the financial markets? (Regardless of irrelevant college majors)
I am looking through job postings and some say that they require: "knowledge of the financial markets". I'm thinking, doesn't everybody have knowledge of the financial markets?
It doesn't matter if your major is business or English or art or music. Everyone is exposed to money when they make purchases in their every day lives. They know the price of things they use.
Based on this logic, then doesn't everybody know (at least something) about the financial markets? Saying that you require "knowledge of the financial markets" is like saying that you require "knowledge of who is the current President".
