English language in Frankfurt
Is it possible to do investment banking in Frankfurt with knowledge of English language alone or without being very fluent in German?

I've seen it be done but don't it expect to work in LMM, this is more possible at an international bank. Do you have any questions?
LMM means lower middle market M&A banks right?
M&A? Probably not. Even at BBs, it’d be a difficult case to make (except if you’re female?)
S&T? More likely. Have seen a couple examples on the trading floor (but little to none in sales)
ECM/DCM/LevFin/Other Financing groups? Again more likely but not very common since most of that is either German Corp specific or may concern the Mittelstand. Also, it’s not uncommon for PrivateCo management to release financials/YE reports in German :)
I read this thing different Time. Why is it easier if you are female and don’t speak German? Why this discrimination on a Gender base in Germany?
