I currently have an FTC offer to join acompany as an /Sustainability analyst on the Equities team in London. I won't be doing any fundamental bottom-up , just shit to do with regulations, ESG, proxy voting, etc.
I'll be off to do my postgrad masters next year but if I wanted to recruit for IB/HF - is this experience even valuable/worth it? is it better if I do something like Big 4 Audit/ or Corporate FP&A?
I ask this because it feels like no one values ESG and I don't think it will make me stand out during interviews or CV screening by HR/Analysts.
Also - I have 3 months IB M&A internship experience at anfrom this summer (but clearly, no spot for FT). I tried to get more internships in IB but failed.
