Feels like future of top finance career is slipping away

I am a student at UF majoring in finance and economics with a minor in accounting. I have a 3.8 GPA and my major and minor GPAs are all 4.0. I regret to inform that I have very little extra curricular involvement although I excel academically. I wish I would've gotten an internship this summer but the situation with my dad's business was pretty bad and he would've been pretty screwed if I didn't help out. I came to UF after getting a 1510 on my SAT and thinking I was the smartest kid in the world and now I feel like I am watching my future of a top tier finance career crumble away. Do you have any idea how well respected Prudential is in the finance community. I My best friend/roommates uncle is C-Suite there and said he could give me a reference so I'm hoping I could at least land an interview. If you could take a glance at these links and tell me which one of these internship programs(if any) would be good experience for firms in consulting, P/E, or IB it would mean the world to me. Won't let me post links but a google search of any of these will take you right to the Prudential website with a description of each program.
