Final Round IB Project NEED HELP

I am in the final round for a public finance position with a MM bank. I have been given a project due in a few days. They have asked me to develop a one page business plan. I am assuming they want me to touch upon marketing objectives, client development, strategic initiatives. Its only one page-which is the hard part. Does anyone have any idea as to what is crucial to get into this one page? Should I touch upon current market trends, include any charts or graphs, etc??? Any help is greatly appreciated. Im writing the CFA next weekend - so I am swamped between the two.

Thanks

The one page business plan is a stock request of VC firms. The trick is, at least from what I've seen, is to do it in PowerPoint as a flow chart. You can seriously put about 30 connected text boxes on 1 PowerPoint slide if you make the effort. Start with the customers on 1 side of the page and your company "Newco, LLC" on the other side. Work from the customers to Newco starting with the value proposition on the customer side to your competitive advantages on Newco's side. I'd connect the competitive advantages to your sales/marketing team to the marketing objectives which connect to the client development...etc. Just keep in mind the exercise is trying to show how you connect customer perspective to the business's activities and how the business can better exploit the available opportunities stemming from the value proposition.

If they didn't give you a specific industry I would pick wholesale/distribution of some standard, industrial, product. Emphasize your value-add such as customer service, product training, JIT delivery, etc. This should get it done.

How this helps project indicates your ability to underwrite munipal bonds...I have no idea
