Finance jobs in Utah/Colorado

Currently landed an internship for junior year summer doing CB at Deutsche. I know living in the city isn’t for me but I can handle it. I would rather live in a place where I am able to ski and mountain bike. I have skied 37 days so far this year and cannot live without skiing for more than 30 days a year. Has anyone made a transition to living out west from CB/IB? Also what was the change like and are you doing the same job? The only company I can think of is D.A. Davidson.

There's some back office functions at GS SLC. There used to be a "junior analyst" IB program out of there as well but I believe it was shut down in the last 18 months.

Petrie Partners is a very solid O&G shop out of Denver, but you will work so much you won't be skiing at all. RBC has a small CME group. If you're not set on IB/CB, McKinsey and KPMG corp fin have offices too.

I'd also look into the handful of remote-first IB firms - Big Path Capital is the well known one, but I see some occasional smaller boutiques posting jobs that have the same model post-COVID.

Checkout BofA’s EMRC group. They have juniors in LA/SF but the local teams in Utah/Denver are also hiring.
