Freshman attending a non-target school (Babson College), What should/can I do to prepare for a future career in IB?

I'm an incoming freshman at Babson College in their undergraduate business program, and I am hoping to break into banking after graduation. I'm rather unfamiliar with the recruiting process, but I'm wondering, What things should I do to best position myself for recruiting? What steps can I take now?

Unfortunately, I was not accepted to Wharton, Yale, and those other target schools, so it is a bit of an uphill battle. For that reason, I would like to prepare as much as I can for this tough process

Are there clubs/activities I should be joining? Specific activities or courses? People I should be talking to? I'm really unsure what I should be doing right now in the summer, and what I should be doing when I get to school. Thanks in advance.

I think you should read into the history of Roger Babson as it relates to finance….don’t be ashamed of where you go to school. Life is what you make it.
