Freshman Summer Internships, Too Late to Begin?

Hi Monkeys, (should I call you guys fellow monkeys?)

I hope everyone is doing well!

I am a Freshman at a nontarget in upstate NY and am looking for summer internships. Is it too late to begin searching?

Although I’ve done a lot during the school year as an executive in the student hedge fund and founder of an investment research group, I haven’t really been focused on networking for summer positions and I am afraid there might be no chance left if I search now.

Do you guys have any advice, feedback, or specific resources for starting a search? Thank you all in advance, and I will send my resume if needed.
