FT recruitment from Columbia?

Incoming freshman at an LAC and I'm seriously considering the Columbia dual degree program. However, I'd have to spend 3 years at my LAC and 2 years at Columbia, which would force me into FT recruiting. So, this leads me to my question: should I grind at my LAC for a summer analyst offer, should I grind for a full time offer at Columbia, or should I do both (or something else lol)? Sidenote, I am extremely grateful to have the chance to attend my LAC and I hope I don't come off extremely douchey. Thank you for reading!

Most LAC that have this program, nothing real special. From what I know its pretty rough course-load wise, you could always transfer from LAC if you only want to get into Columbia.

Yeah, but I think transferring into Columbia the normal way is much harder than getting in through this program. Also, they give priority admission to a list of schools for the dual degree and mine is on the list, if that makes a difference.
