Funniest Networking Stories

I wanted to start a thread where everyone can share the funniest networking stories they’ve experienced or heard from others. I’ll begin with mine:

I was finishing up my last college class of the day and I had a call scheduled with an MD at a large PE fund 5 minutes after my class ended. However, just as I was leaving my class, I got the strongest stomach pain in my life and realized I desperately needed to take a massive dump. I sprinted to the accessible restroom in my college’s business school building and prayed that I would be able to do the deed quickly. I proceeded to let out one of the most vile dumps I’ve had in recent memory. It was one of those ones where you start sweating and shaking from the pain and start to undress completely. I realized that I wouldn’t be able to finish, wipe and be able to move into a private breakout room in time. Thus, while sitting on the toilet, I put on a white dress shirt and setup a virtual camera background on my Teams application. I ended up taking that entire call while shitting my guts out on the toilet and had to periodically mute when the toilet decided to automatically flush itself. Surprisingly, it was one of the best networking calls I’ve had and I’m still in regular contact with that MD today!
