Further education
Good Morning guys,
I'm new here, I've been a qualified accountant for 2 years now with 5 years xp in a small corp finance firm dealing with excel models, financial statement analysis and credit decisions mainly. Recently landed a job at a much bigger bank (still only a small fish in the scheme of things) I will be a full time Transaction structuring support analyst for fixed income. What i want, is to move into front office but i cannot see any single clear path. I do not have a university degree, my A levels are crap also. The only thing i have is my experience and accounting quals (which apparently doesn't look great on an application).
My thoughts are either MBA or CFA, both of which i am eligible for doing. I then worry if CFA will get me stuck in BO
Any advice from others without university would be greatly appreciated.
