Gmail and Thank You Emails

So Google has decided to group all my thank you emails together. What it basically looks like is I send one thank you letter and it looks like it sends it in a chain to someone else (but I know it isn't).

Is there any way to de-clump this or get around this issue? I'd obviously rather not have for example a Wellington PM see my email telling this PM at Fidelity that I love them and etc. I'm pretty sure it's not doing it but I feel really uneasy seeing these emails chained up together.

This happens to me as well because the subject line (Thank You) is the same for all these emails.

Also looking for a way around this.

Gmail really isn't too bad.

Is there a Gmail feature that can auto-send emails at specific times like Outlook can?

Google "boomerang for gmail"

I HATE GMAIL. How can it be so bad all the time, it does nothing well. Google, if you're listening, take Outlook, make it look all Googley to keep yourselves and MSFT happy and then we'll, in turn, be happy.

Not every update is an improvement. Priority Inbox? Big yes. New tabbed inbox with no more Starred box? Not so much. Also, converting the old chat to the new Hangout format does away with your Google phone, so no more phone calls from your Gmail. So far I think it's best to stay on the old chat, but I'm getting used to the new inbox layout.

Guys, a bunch of you asked me to write a post about Gmail hacks, but when I got around to doing it I realized that I use so many it would be thousands of words long. So I decided to write up a Gmail guide that includes everything, and give it away for free when you buy my new book. In the meantime however, I have one word for you:

Mailstrom.

I make Gmail my bitch.
