Got a career question
Hi everybody,
If I am interested in going into AM if given the option to take an internship with a big company outside of finance that isn't necessarily a market research position but will afford relevant experience such as market research, financial analysis and modeling, strategy analysis....would you take it over an option to work in Asset Management but in a investor relation or administration position? I didn't know if relevant experience or industry experience is more important.
Also, an unrelated question if you work for a subsidiary for a fortune 500 company would that qualify you as indeed working for a fortune 500 company?
Sorry if that is a dumb question.
Thanks
